Many health problems are attributable to psychological stress and this can be relieved by meditation as it offers a simple yet natural way to calm and centre the mind, improve awareness, concentration and contentment. Ultimately lead to self-understanding and inner peace. There are many techniques for meditation. For example: concentration on the breath inwardly and repeating a special ‘Mantra.’ Visualisation is also a meditation, this too involve slowing down the constant rush of thoughts and ‘Mental Chatter’ as it induces a peaceful and harmonious state of mind. The meditative state work beautifully by promoting awareness. Requires no belief, it should not be a form of religion individually or collectively. Everyone can benefit from relaxing in a meditative state. Meditation is safely effective for inner peace and well-being. Ten minutes of daily meditation can a significant influence the whole self positively. Please note that meditation groups are followers of a founder, who has a philosophy about the subject and they may or may not have religious leaning.
