Healing with Crystals This form of therapy is based a holistic and a natural way to restore balance, health and happiness. The majority of minerals can under certain condition form smooth surface pieces called crystals. Nearly always minerals crystallise to form the same beautiful shapes and humans have developed a very special relationship to them since time immemorial. Our closer observation of crystals shows that these natural formations contain energy which we use to make jewellery, in machinery, pharmaceuticals, construction and more. Is crystal energy really vibrate at a rate that encourages our body, mind and emotions to self heal? Well… perhaps! What is not in doubt, is that long before science discovered that crystals have a molecular structure, they been used for healing all around the globe from China to Egypt to Native Americas. Mineralogy or crystallography are interesting subject in themselves, but we are focusing on healing where a healer channels a crystal energy on behalf of the client. The aim is that this energy will go to the deepest level of a person’s being where illnesses are seen to begin. Crystal energy is considered to work where they are most needed, by cleansing toxins from the body, releasing blocks and bringing a state of balance. The healer usually will explain their perception of the process at length and often their and client’s belief this works often does. But for best results a Crystal healer should have in-depth training of counselling for example. Crystal treatment is powerful yet gentle, a session usually last about an hour where the person treated will sit or lie fully clothed in a state of relaxation, as crystals and gemstones are placed around and/or on the body to bring a state of energy and balance. Because this therapy is a gentle process, it is ideal for everyone, from the very young to the very mature. Crystals will treat most issues, be they physical or emotional (from depression, ME, migraines, menstrual/menopausal problems, asthma, stress, psoriasis and many others). It is easy to dismiss crystals as a bonafide healing system. Scientists has documented evidence that mammals, birds, reptiles or fish seek out mineral and salts to aid digestion, health and well-being. Healers regard crystals as a complimenting ingredient that enhances the effect of complementary and orthodox treatments. It is not the scientist, the doctor, the crystals or the healers who poses special powers more than a medical doctor who prescribes medicine. But crystals are a natural and powerful treatment gift that facilitates client participation in the process of self-healing. Can crystals give guidance? Well perhaps... and many attest that they do. But even tough I am not a crystal healer or a stock holder, though I like having them around for their grounding qualities. They help me focus, keep my feet on the ground and in this respect they do give me guidance! Crystals give an aura of tranquillity, comfort and promote a relaxing atmosphere when working or resting. To work with crystals properly one needs to know about them a great deal, but this is not my forte even if I sell a few work related crystals. There are so many crystals, minerals, semi-precious or precious stones and their uses are just as varied e.g. Watches, Jewellery, Building, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Machinery, Agriculture, etc.. Used by complementary or alternative medicine practitioners (astrologers, palmists, medicine women, shamans, psychics, angel healers, spiritual healers, etc.) made them popular with the general public.
